Food Pantry
Food and basic household supplies such as toiletries and household cleaning products can be found at the McCordsville United Methodist Church Food Pantry. This food pantry is for individuals and families in need that reside in Vernon and Buck Creek Townships in Hancock County and recipients of our food pantry items are referred to our church by Community Sharing. If you reside outside of Vernon and Buck Creek Townships in Hancock County, you may call "Connect2Help" at 2-1-1 and you will be referred to the appropriate agency for your needs (or click on the link below for food or other needs). If dialing 2-1-1 or the web site link does not work below, you may call (317) 926-4357.
Community Sharing serves Vernon and Buck Creek Townships in Hancock County. This organization has been assisting those in need in the community, on a case by case basis, for more than 30 years with items such as food, clothing, medicine, gasoline to get to work, utilities and rent assistance. If you would like to make a donation to help with those in need in our community, you can make a donation in the name of “Community Sharing” at the Greenfield Bank in Fortville, Indiana.
If you would like to donate items to the Food Pantry at McUMC, you can bring them to a Sunday Service, or contact the church at (317) 335-3705.

Cereal (all kinds)
Pancake mix
Syrup for pancakes
Canned meat (all kinds)
Spaghetti sauce
Canned tomataoes (whole and diced)
Sugar
Peanut butter
Canned milk
Miscellaneous
McCordsville United Methodist Church is an integral component of a growing community and we help our neighbors and others in need throughout the year through various initiatives.
