Our Kroger Partnership

Our Food Pantry is grateful for a strong partnership with Kroger and Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana. This partnership supports our pantry in two key ways: the Gleaners DAP (Direct Agency Pickup) Program and the Kroger Community Rewards Program.

DAP: Direct Agency Pickup

DAP (Direct Agency Pickup) is a Gleaners program that helps channel donated food from retail partners directly to local partner agencies like the McCordsville UMC Food Pantry. This helps reduce food waste and increases the amount and variety of food available to the families we serve.

Our weekly pickup

  • Every Saturday morning, our team leaves the church at 9:30 a.m.
  • We arrive by 10:00 a.m. at Kroger (Olio & 116th St.), 11700 Olio Rd, Fishers, IN 46037
  • After pickup, we return to MUMC to unload, weigh, sort, package, and refrigerate items received
  • We complete required Gleaners reporting forms, documenting what was received and weight totals
Volunteers are always needed. If you can help with pickup or stay to assist back at the church, your time makes a real difference.
