McCordsville United Methodist Church

"A church steeped in tradition, embracing today."

From our Church’s humble beginnings as a classroom at the Robb School House, to the dedication of our current sanctuary on September of1922, to our consecration service of our new modern wing in January of 2010, the McCordsville United Methodist Church has stood by its mission through the years of carrying Christ’s message in all we do especially to our community.

What started out as a tiny gathering of McCordsville’s first families has blossomed into a loving, caring community of individuals and families who seek to prosper Christ’s rich and abundant love through works of faith and service to one another.  Through traditions such as our annual summer Lord’s Acre Festival, which has its roots back to 1952, with a parade and silent auction topping two-days worth of festivities.  We also offer traditional Methodist groups such as the United Methodist Men’s and Women’s Groups which all are welcome and encouraged to join.  We remember to serve and care for our senior community members through visitation services monthly at Westminster Village as we continue carrying God’s promise and expression of love to them through our Vesper Services.

In January 2010, we held the consecration service for a new addition to our church which allowed us to better serve our community with our popular community meals that serve not only those looking to socialize and enjoy a good meal but those in our community who may also be in need of a low cost food option.  We look forward to continuing and expanding the attendance of these popular gatherings.

Finally, come worship with us every Sunday.  We offer child care and Sunday School for you and your family and as always, if you or someone you know is in need of prayer, we are here for you guidinglove@hrtc.net or (317) 335-3819.  We look forward to serving you!
